Farmerz: Turning idle land into monthly income

Farmerz is an agritech marketplace I co-founded that connects farmers with idle farmland across Nigeria, so they can lease instead of buy.

Farmland across Nigeria sits unused while farmers who want to grow cannot afford to buy land. Finding, trusting and paying for a plot is slow and informal.

1. The idea

   Make leasing land as easy as renting an apartment: browse, match, sign and pay in one place.

2. The business model

   Monthly leases from ₦28,000, with the platform sitting in the payment flow through Paystack, plus paid plans for landowners who want more visibility.

3. The system

   Farmer and landowner workspaces, AI matching on crops, soil, budget and distance, digital leases and an admin ledger.

4. The brand

   An orange, green and chrome identity with the line "Make room for growth", rolled out from field kits to roadside billboards.
